  9. The overlay grid of the current crop tool is based on the Rule of Thirds. There are a few more photo composition rules though, and I was wondering if you guys could implement those as an overlay as well and create a property which allows to select one of these overlay grid styles and the rotation.

Here is a list of some well-known photo composition rules with links to the theory/ calculations behind it:

    • Golden Section/ Phi Grid

    • Golden Triangle

    • Golden Rectangle/ Golden Spiral

  11. The problem with this images is that the PSB could have more Channel inside the single Layer.
When I Open the image with Photoshop I can see the different color mixed with all channels but with ImageEn I can see only the first Channel.

  12. A TImageEnView can have multiple layers but they are all direct children of the TImageEnView. They can be 'grouped' but this is just a "I'm with him" grouping (same GroupID number), not an actual group structure. A layer cannot be part of (for example) an Annotation group which is in turn part of an ImageInfo group. You would have to use UserData or an external TreeList to maintain the structure and determine which Layers belong to which group and then manipulate them individually. Another problem with the single layer Layers is that the TImageEnLayerMView component will show all the separate…

  13. I've been fighting trying to access the OV8830 and OV2720 on tablets with the Atom CPU..

    Came across this...

    https://software.intel.com/en-us/articles/building-compelling-windows-store-apps-for-intel-atom-processor-based-tablet-devices

    which got me here....

    https://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/windows/apps/windows.media.capture.cameracaptureui?cs-save-lang=1&cs-lang=vb#code-snippet-1

So it sounds like for these cases, the the Atom CPU and web cam hardware are pretty much all tied up together pretty well?
And that to access the camera fully, you need to access the CameraCaptureUI in Windows 8 and higher?

Delphi 10 Seattle doesn't appear to have this supported yet from what it looks... so would this be something ImageEN could end
    up wrapping?

  16. Add an addition Boolean input variable that would define whether the sides of the angle were drawn. If false then only the arch between the sides of the would be drawn. This would allow for situations where the sides of the angle were independently drawn as ruler lines and their color was based on criteria not related to the angle itself. The arch object would have its own annotation ID

  19. As I understand it, at present we would have to use a separate file for the alpha data. In our case having one file with all the data would be preferable. I do realise this would probably create some redundancy with a 16 bit alpha channel, but that would be our loss.

  20. Currently ImageEn does not support or rather skips all information of Layer Styles applied to a layer in Photoshop.

I know it would not be possible to implement all the features of Layer Style in ImageEn but there should be some way by which we can get the information as to which Style(s) are applied to a layer and accordingly decide as to what we want to do with Style(s) info as well as the Layer they are associated with.
