  3. Add the ability to define anchor points when creating polylines. The points ensures the shape to maintain its structure when the layer is resized as well as enable customization. The feature is similar to Microsoft Word shapes.

  4. As in zbrush. Somehow that app saves all undo operations with file. that blows up file but user can undo operations after reopen file.
similar to this functionality. Saving Undo Stack to same IEV file or Imageen Integrated File System or another temporal file.

  5. Drawing using brush tool has lags. when attempting to drawing faster (using brushtool), smooth lines draws something like polygon lines . it would be awesome for a better speed. (how photoshop or epic-pen draw such good speed and antialiased (imageen mimics smoothing/antialising iev1.brushtool.Feathering>0). are those products uses directx api or gpu advantages ?
(btw, mspaint does not have that performance)

  6. Add support for a Bitmap that would hold final image as visible to user with all blend modes and effects applied.

In short give a merge all layer view bitmap which should automatically get updated as user modifies layers, etc.

  7. I propose combining 32/64 bits packages and setting search path to … That way, package rebuilding does not need setting Delphi Search path to ImageEn Source.

  10. I would love to see ImageEn support OMR.
Optical mark recognition (also called optical mark reading and OMR) is the process of Icapturing human-marked data from document forms such as surveys and tests. They are used to read questionnaires, multiple choice examination paper in the form of lines or shaded areas.

  11. A TImageEnView can have multiple layers but they are all direct children of the TImageEnView. They can be 'grouped' but this is just a "I'm with him" grouping (same GroupID number), not an actual group structure. A layer cannot be part of (for example) an Annotation group which is in turn part of an ImageInfo group. You would have to use UserData or an external TreeList to maintain the structure and determine which Layers belong to which group and then manipulate them individually. Another problem with the single layer Layers is that the TImageEnLayerMView component will show all the separate…

  14. Currently ImageEn does not support or rather skips all information of Layer Styles applied to a layer in Photoshop.

I know it would not be possible to implement all the features of Layer Style in ImageEn but there should be some way by which we can get the information as to which Style(s) are applied to a layer and accordingly decide as to what we want to do with Style(s) info as well as the Layer they are associated with.

  15. Allow an offline mode so that existing cached map tiles are used rather than having to have an internet connection open to download them.

Allow zooming between zoom level of tiles. At the moment you can only zoom at tile zoom level and not between them.

  17. The overlay grid of the current crop tool is based on the Rule of Thirds. There are a few more photo composition rules though, and I was wondering if you guys could implement those as an overlay as well and create a property which allows to select one of these overlay grid styles and the rotation.

Here is a list of some well-known photo composition rules with links to the theory/ calculations behind it:

    • Golden Section/ Phi Grid

    • Golden Triangle

    • Golden Rectangle/ Golden Spiral
